Picking The Right 3D Printer Filament

Looking for 3D printer filaments?

We’re pleased to announce that you can now purchase a variety of filaments at AAA Business Supplies. Here’s a quick overview of what we have to offer.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

Best used for making durable parts that need to withstand higher temperatures. Not as brittle as PLA. Can be finished with acetone for a glossy finish.

PLA (Polylactic Acid)

Another popular 3D printer material due to its user-friendly and easy to print nature. Corn-starch based, PLA is best for low odor or low emission requirements. Not as strong as ABS, but suffice for a myriad of printable applications.

PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol)

Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) filament is a water-soluble material that is primarily used for support material. Create complex prints with easy support removal.

Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)

An industry-leading filament, Semi-flexible TPU meets exacting standards for consistent diameter/ovality. This filament features excellent low-temperature flexibility, improved hydrolytic stability, and excellent processability.

But wait, there are more materials to choose from:

ASA • Nylon • Glow in the Dark PLA • PLA/PHA • ASA • HIPS
