AAA Business Supplies & Interior employees are driven and passionate about our company and what they do, especially one of our bloggers, our Vice President of Furniture and Design, Stephanie Bonham.
Stephanie has been with us for six years and came to us with an advanced degree in Organizational and Industrial Psychology from Sacramento State University. She first started working in the office furniture industry in 1971 for a family-owned office products company that also sold office furniture. Her career in office furniture deepened when she became co-owner of a Steelcase dealership in 1985 up until 2001.
Stephanie says AAA is a perfect fit for her because she and our owner Steve Danziger “see the world the same way.” “There is a chance to make a difference, here,” she also noted. Her favorite parts about her role are working with our sales team, developing new business, and introducing potential clients to new furniture. “Being able to help clients change and enhance their culture through their office environment is an added bonus,” she said.
Stephanie also noted, “The Company offers me the opportunity to run the Furniture Division with complete autonomy. We employ our own designers, project managers, and installers, who give AAA total ownership of all our projects, therefore we are able to give our clients the total AAA experience.”
AAA clients range from large technology companies to elementary schools. Stephanie explains that she is never bored at work because her work consistently varies from day to day. There is always a puzzle to solve, or a new space to create.
“I really love my job! It allows me to be creative and to be a leader. I love being part of an organization that gives back to the world through their business practices. I really believe the Company makes a difference in the world, through their business practices and leadership,” Stephanie explained.
In her spare time, Miss Bonham enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling, and anything having to do with Italy. When asked what her best qualities are, she quickly explained that she is one of the fun ones at the office because she tries to make the most out of each and every day. It’s not uncommon for other employees to find her literally laughing out loud, especially at herself.
Volunteering is also in her blood. She is passionate about Planned Parenthood and dedicates her free time to being on the Board of Trustees for the Northern California branch. In addition, she is co-chair of the Political Action Fund.
